Frequently asked questions

When does the game come out?

Soon, on iPhone. We will announce it here when it is ready.

What does it cost?

Version 1.0 is free, with no in-app purchases.

Are there ads?

No. There are no ads in the game, and there never will be.

What data do you collect?

None. The game has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Your records and progress are saved only on your phone. See the privacy policy.

Which phones can I play on?

iPhone. The exact requirements will be shown on the App Store page at launch.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The game works fully offline.

Which languages is the game in?

The game is in English.

Can I play online against other people?

No. You can play against eight computer opponents, or against a friend on the same phone.

Does the game use Game Center?

Yes, if you want it to. Turn it on in the game to see leaderboards and earn achievements through Apple's Game Center (leaderboards need an internet connection). It is optional, and the game works fully without it. See the privacy policy.

Does the game follow the proper rules?

Yes. The game always uses the full professional rules: free ball, foul and a miss, re-spotting and the rest. The one exception is that the miss rule is off on Pub player.

Can I turn the aiming help off?

Yes. Choose Pub player, Amateur, Club player, Semi-pro or Pro, or set each help option on its own under Custom. Pro shows no help on screen.

I am left-handed.

You can move the cue to the other side in the match settings.

Can I turn off the sound or the vibration?

Yes. In Settings you can turn the sound, the referee's voice and haptics (the small taps you feel in the phone) on or off.

Will my progress move to a new phone?

Your records and progress are stored only on your phone, since we collect no data. They follow you to a new phone only if your iPhone's own backup (iCloud or your computer) restores the app data.
